Hey All,
I am using iTunes 9 on Windows Vista 64-bit to transfer music to my 1st gen iPod Touch but every time I transfer anything, iTunes hangs after it transfers everything. It doesn't matter if I am transferring 1 song or 100 songs, it transfers everything over, the message changes to "Syncing iPod" and that's where it dies. This has been happening for several months across several versions of iTunes. I have reinstalled iTunes, reset my iPod to factory and started fresh, nothing seems to fix it. It's very annoying to have to end the task after every file transfer. I am also using the USB cable that came with the iPod, not a third party cable.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
