I have sucessfully connected Airport Express to play itunes on my stereo. I am using the FIOS supplies Actiontek M1424WR router. The problem is that when I allow Itunes to play a list or randomly select, it is fine. Without exception, though if I click on a tune listen briefly, click on another etc. after about 4 tunes Itunes freezes. Sometimes it will freeze if I pause a tune. I realize there is a lag in getting the tunes as I am using a library on a shared drive from a desktopcomputer. I am controlling Itunes from a wireless laptop and instruct it to load that library. In other words I am not accessing a shared library. I tried putting the itunes library on an NAS with the same results. I was wondering if the Actiontek is causing an issue. I am not sure that the AE is causing this since it does the same thing when I change to the computer speakers or unplug the AE. Yet, if I use Airfoil, there is no problem at all, and frankly it is looking better by the minute. Does anyone have any ideas? Much appreciated.
