I have a new Vista computer. (this problem did not exist in XP)
I keep itunes open in my profile so that it can see the AppleTv. When my wife's profile becomes active itunes tries to open in her profile and we get a consistent popup error that windows cannot open itunes because another user has it open. the recommendation is to shut it down in the other profile (that is the suggestion i saw in another Support post as well). Probelm is that it needs to be open in the other profile for the ATV. Also - no matter how manytimes i try shutting down itunes in my wifes profile (via task manager and killing the service) the computer keeps attempting to run it.
Does anyone have suggestions of what I can do to fix this pls.
