Lately, it seems since I downloaded the latest version of iTunes, it has randomly been freezing. What happens is that while I'm listening to my music, iTunes will stop working. The song still appears to be playing (pause button is shown), but no music is playing, and click the pause/play button does nothing. I often have to ctrl alt del to close iTunes.
I've been noticing now that it seems to be correlated to my screensaver. Shortly after it comes on is when iTunes seems to be freezing up. My screensaver is simply a slideshow of all my digital photos. I have never had a problem with this before. Once in awhile too, my screensaver will be a text saying "An error prevented Slideshow from playing." Again, I have never had this problem before, and it seems to be happening since the installation of iTunes 9. In fact, this just happened a few minutes ago, and I can't even reopen iTunes... looks like a restart is my only option.
I'm running Windows Vista, iTunes version 9, and I have an HP Pavilion. Any suggestions?! HELP!
