Maybe there is a simple way to fix, but I have all my songs on an external drive, and if my drive is unconnected or drops connection at any point, Itunes flips through my whole library and gives every song it tries to play that explanation mark, I've found no easy way to undo or fix this. I have to delete the whole library and re-import every song. If there is no fix to this, than apple needs to look into it. some kind of refresh button to find missing songs, or to force it to check the file's path again after fixing the connection to my drive because I can't go through and find thousands of songs one by one.
