ebay buyer protection is a joke!
bought 8 lip sticks for $65+, seller mailed them by USPS (not insured), supposedly it was delivered by the USPS but i never received the items i paid for. post office won't reimburse me for the lost package they said they delivered, seller won't refund money and e-bay buyer protection said that since there was a tracking # that shows it was delivered, can't help me either. we are all screwed on this one and i am the one out the money and no product. DON'T BELIEVE ANYTHING WHEN YOU ARE TOLD YOU ARE "PROTECTED" -- IT'S A JOKE AND NOT A FUNNY ONE!!|||bought 8 lip sticks for $65+, seller mailed them by USPS (not insured), Insurance is for the seller's benefit only. A buyer doesn't have to purchase insurance. The seller has always been responsible for getting a package to the buyer in the condition as described and in a timely manner. A buyer purchasing insurance is a waste of money. post office won't reimburse me for the lost package they said they delivered, Do you have the tracking number? Does it say delivered? Is it possible another family member received the package and didn't tell you. Did you check with a neighbor to see if it was delivered to them by mistake? Call the post office again and see if the package is there. It very well can be. Don't just talk to one person and give up. The person you spoke to may not know what they are doing or care. I've had packages marked as delivered on the weekend when I didn't receive them. The post office re-delivers and should leave a pink or orange slip to inform you to pick the item up. Usps gives you two chances and then the item will be sent back to the sender. DON'T BELIEVE ANYTHING WHEN YOU ARE TOLD YOU ARE "PROTECTED" -- IT'S A JOKE AND NOT A FUNNY ONE!! The only joke is that you believe this. Buyer protection is almost full-proof. The seller did their part based on what you have written. You paid for your item and it is your responsibility to find out where it is. Its an inconvenience but sometimes you have to take a little initiative.|||Have you checked with your neighbors or the Post Office? Perhaps your package is there.friends Director,|||How dd you pay for these? Credit Card? Do a chargeback. Of course you would be screwing the seller, since Paypal will pass it on to them.|||Call your local post office and speak to the POST MASTER - tell them what happened and that you want this situation investigated. The package very well may be at the post office & with the delivery confirmation number, they'll be able to tell you. Good luck!!! When it happened to me, my postal carrier (who was a fill-in) stole my packages, but I got back most of them - so don't give up!!!|||post office won't reimburse me for the lost package they said they delivered How would PO know it was delivered unless it had DC ! Op isn't getting $ back because the seller has followed protocol, and PO has as delivered. I'm sorry OP if it was stolen, but I don't think seller or Ebay should be held responsible for local thefts, no more then if you sold something at a garage sale and the buyers car got robbed. You should file a police report, there may have been other thefts in your area.|||guess op is not coming back.|||OP...Why are you blaming ebay for the post office F_ _ _ up? GUNATH....My only comment to you is, HUH????|||gunath is spamming the boards with that C&P post.
