eBay Customer Service - Buyer Protection = GARBAGE

Well apparently sellers have a way to get out of the SNAD cases and crew the buyer. And eBay DOES NOTHING. I am so furious and disgusted right now. I was sent an item that was 100% not working and when i went to the seller for help, he said "no refunds". Well thats fine for a working item, but not one that doesnt. So i filed a case, packaged the item, sent it priority mail with delivery confirmation to the address listed in the case. Well apparently in the location this seller is in, they have to deliver the priority package in person, even when I never added Signature Confirmation. So guess what... the seller doesnt answer the door. So Ebay is waiting for confirmation of DELIVERY which is never gonna happen because the seller has to ask to have it redelivered. Meanwhile, it sits at the post office where this loser will let it sit until it is returned to me after 15 days. It has already been over a month from start to finish!!! And the ebay customer support says "we are waiting on confirmation of delivery sorry all we can do is wait." Are you kidding?! So BUYER BEWARE. eBay customer support won't help you out on this. Don't believe the so called guarantee because they can get out of it and keep their money as if you never tried to return it. Total BS. Amazon is so much better.|||Oh and of course.... this buyer had 300+ feedback at 100%, so feedback is not gonna help you in watching out for scammers. When people get hard up, they will do anything for an extra dime.|||Ebay will still refund you, even if the seller refuses the package.|||I would wait 2 or 3 more days and check the Delivery Confirmation again. If the package is waiting to be picked up, it should say "Attempted Delivery - Notice Left" or something similar. Call eBay, give them the DC number, inform them that delivery was attempted but seller has not picked up the item, and insist on a refund. You will be refunded. 'Refused' and 'Attempted Delivery' does not get the seller off the hook. They will still have to refund.friends Director,|||mandi - you coming back to this thread to see that youw ill still get your refund?|||I don't think they protect buyer at all. 1. The seller me all the wrong details that hey could give to make you to buy the product. I ended up buying the production believing what seller said was true. 2. After got the product I found the information was wrong. I contacted the seller. 3. Wrote several messages to the seller for which he did not protect you. Again Ebay says they can not do anything. 4. Filed a case in Ebay Buyer protection option. The person who logged the complaint wrote my description as "Warranty Issue" even though I said I was worried about the product quality. 5. The Ebay let you and the seller to fight first. After few days they will be back to the picture. a. They are not responsible for the sellers lie. Basically means he can write what ever he wants to sell his product. b. Ther (Ebay) are not concerned about the messages you and seller had. c. They person from Ebay is concerned only about physical Item. The person who will speak to you will not even have a slight clue of what type of electronic item she is dealing with and what is the significance that your claim has related to the product quality. d. They (Ebay Person) consider things like mechanical. It works or not that is all they wanted. e. So finally they (Ebay) used the information they logged "warranty" as an escape route to get out from the protection claim. 6. One funny things, she (Ebay Person) said she closed the case while talking to me. I was surprised to know that they act as if they are listening to you and will allow you to shout as much as you want. But its all decided way before they start to talk to you. They just try to log as they chat with you and closed the case. 7. The things is that I was planning to take the lens I bought to be tested in the shop and was just waiting for the verdict to happen and then take it out as I does not need to pay a fee for testing. Now even if I say the product is not working, I don't know how I am going to convince these people. 8. They (Ebay) are trained with tricks to just close a transaction. They side with seller as he is the one who is pay the fee to list the item and he is the one who is giving business to them. The seller is clever as this is his full time job. The buyer, just because he is new, he is one who gets cheated.|||Stop spamming the boards. Posting your complaint multiple times only irritates people and won't help you.Even when I am telling a lie I am truthful. Rick|||At least make your rant make sense......
