How tough is E-Bay on Non Paying buyers
At this point I have 7 buyers that have not paid. 3 of them have been sent reminders to pay from me, 2 are in the resolution center. They are all new buyers, with under 40 FB one is an 8. What I want to know is how tough is E-Bay on buyers that don't pay? When I file the dispute and the time expires I get my fees back but then I go to see what happened to the NPB and it looks like they are just happily buying away like nothing happened.Shop My Store, Buy 3 and get free shipping, Adding new stuff daily Chloeintx54|||eBaty is about as "tough" on them as a wal-mart greeter is on customers coming in. they do nothing in most cases. and as a buyer can just make a new id ...............|||Unfortunately nothing really happens to them. Once you close the case and get back your fee, it's all done and you both can continue on your way. The buyer will get the mark on their account which, if sellers set their options to "block buyers with 2 or more unpaid items in the past month" (or something like that) on their listings, may hinder them from future purchases if they haven't paid for many items. Overall though, most sellers don't set this block and the buyer continues on their merry way. Always add them to your BBL though.|||"When I file the dispute and the time expires I get my fees back but then I go to see what happened to the NPB and it looks like they are just happily buying away like nothing happened." A buyer's feedback page will not show , how many non paying bidder strikes the buyer has racked up. As stated above , sellers can set their buyer requirements to exclude bidders, who have received non pay bidder strikes within a certain time frame. Look here Link Ebay can and will suspend a buyer's bidding ability at some point. Only Ebay knows for sure just how many strikes it takes. All the sellers need to do, is file the UID, wait ,close it and let the buyer rack up the right number and Ebay will stop them from bidding at some point. I have seen on the boards from time to time , buyers post whines about getting a 30 day buying suspension for one too many non paying bidder strikes.|||ebay can not force someone to payOnce in a while you get shown the light, in the strangest of places if you look at it right (Garcia,Hunter)|||Chloe..., First set up the unpaid item assistant, Link Going through the resolution center can allow a buyer to leave a neg for you. You also have to apply for fees return after using the manual system, and if you do receive a Neg from a buyer who loses a NPB, or UPI, you have to deal with customer service, which can take time. "How tough is ebay on NPBs"? No very. They forgive one strike, and never let anyone know how many strikes a buyer has. A while back, someone on the feedy board, was able to find out that one buyer had over ten NPB strikes, but was still buying. Ebay did get rid of the member, but also plugged the leak that allowed a member to discover how many strikes had been issued.~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ I did not sell you my opinion|||You have to make sure you properly close the dispute to give the buyers strikes for non payment. I have had buyers go NARU after I've given them strikes. Before I could neg them. (back when you could still neg non payers) Make sure you have those blocks set in your preferences too.|||I've Had buyers go NARU'D after getting 2 UPI's under this New system .Back in days when we sellers could give Negative feeback ,UPI's Didn't teeth because buyer could get the first one removed under fast appeal process! So it took 4 more UPI's for buyers get the boot ! Back then New buyers that had -2 too -5 feedback where booted fast.
